Overview

CVL237 is an orally administered small molecule inhibitor that selectively targets the PI3K-beta and PI3K-delta isoforms. By inhibiting these isoforms, CVL237 blocks PI3K-beta/delta-mediated signal transduction pathways, leading to decreased proliferation and increased cell death in susceptible tumor cells. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced solid tumors with PTEN deficiency, as well as lymphadenopathy associated with immune dysregulation syndromes such as activated phosphoinositol 3-kinase delta syndrome (APDS/PASLI). Clinical trials are ongoing in various cancer types including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, endometrial cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, lung cancer, melanoma, prostate cancer, and lymphadenopathy[1][4][7][8].
