Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CX-188 is a probody therapeutic composed of a monoclonal antibody directed against the negative immunoregulatory human cell surface receptor, programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). It was developed to inhibit PD-1, thereby enhancing immune responses against tumors. CX-188 was initially developed by CytomX Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors and other neoplasms. The drug reached Phase 1 clinical trials in adults with recurrent or metastatic solid tumors that had progressed on standard therapy, but its development has since been discontinued.
