This compound demonstrates a distinct chemical and pharmaceutical profile compared to its predecessor, Silmitasertib (CX-4945), as it exhibits **more potent and sustained inhibition of multiple CK2-dependent pathways** and **higher antiviral activity**, including enhanced neutralizing and inhibiting ability against viruses.
