CX-904

CX-904 is an investigational, conditionally activated (masked) bispecific Probody T-cell engager designed to target the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) on tumor cells and the CD3 receptor on T cells. Developed using CytomX's Probody platform, it aims to localize antibody binding and activation specifically within diseased tissue (tumor microenvironment), thereby reducing off-tumor toxicity. The drug is being developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors known to express EGFR—including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, and other solid tumors. Early clinical data show a favorable safety profile with initial signs of anti-tumor activity in heavily pre-treated patients[1][2][3][5][6][7].
