Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CX-908** is a dually masked PROBODY® T-cell engager (TCE) developed by CytomX Therapeutics targeting **CDH3** (Cadherin-3, also known as P-cadherin) on tumor cells and **CD3** on T cells. It leverages CytomX's conditionally activated PROBODY platform, which masks the molecule in circulation and activates it selectively in the tumor microenvironment to improve tolerability and reduce systemic toxicity like cytokine release syndrome. Preclinical data demonstrate potent tumor regressions in breast and lung cancer xenograft models with a 100-fold tolerability improvement over unmasked CDH3xCD3 TCEs, including significantly reduced cytokine release.[2][5][7]
