Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CX13 is a preclinical-stage small molecule targeting the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARG), currently under development by Hangzhou Bangshun Pharmaceutical (also known as Biosun Pharma). The drug is being developed as a monotherapy for the treatment of solid tumors. PPARG is a nuclear receptor that regulates gene expression involved in cell differentiation, lipid metabolism, and inflammation; in the context of oncology, modulating PPARG signaling is explored for its potential to inhibit tumor growth and alter the tumor microenvironment. Hangzhou Bangshun Pharmaceutical holds global commercial rights to the asset and expects to submit an Investigational New Drug (IND) application in 2027.
