CX218

CX218 is a bispecific nanobody currently under development by Chance Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of asthma. As a nanobody-based therapeutic, it utilizes single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) which are significantly smaller than conventional antibodies, potentially allowing for better tissue penetration and stability. CX218 is engineered to simultaneously target two distinct molecular pathways involved in the inflammatory response characteristic of asthma. The drug is designed for delivery via inhalation, aiming to provide localized therapeutic effects directly in the lungs while minimizing systemic exposure. It is currently in the early stages of drug discovery and preclinical development.
