Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CX3CL1-Wnt3a-MSC** is an experimental, adenovirally engineered bone marrow mesenchymal stem-cell therapy designed to secrete CX3CL1 and Wnt3a following transplantation into the brain. In APPswe/PSEN1dE9 mouse models of early Alzheimer's disease, the product improved learning and memory, reduced microglial neurotoxicity, promoted hippocampal neurogenesis, and was associated with PI3K/AKT signaling, inhibition of glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta activity, and Wnt3a-beta-catenin signaling. It is a preclinical research-stage cell-based therapeutic and has not been identified as a marketed or clinical-stage product.
