Overview

CXCL7 siRNA is a small interfering RNA designed to silence the expression of C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 7 (CXCL7, also known as pro-platelet basic protein or PPBP). It is primarily used as a research reagent in preclinical oncology studies to investigate the role of the CXCL7/CXCR2 signaling axis in tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and metastasis. Silencing CXCL7 with this siRNA has been shown to decrease heparanase activity and inhibit the invasion of various cancer cell types, including breast cancer and cholangiocarcinoma, through extracellular matrices.
