Overview

CXCR7 siRNA is a research-grade small interfering RNA (siRNA) molecule designed to silence the expression of the CXC chemokine receptor 7 (CXCR7), also known as atypical chemokine receptor 3 (ACKR3). CXCR7 is a G protein-coupled receptor that primarily signals through the β-arrestin pathway and binds ligands such as CXCL11 and CXCL12. In preclinical studies, CXCR7 siRNA is utilized to investigate the receptor's role in tumor progression, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and metastasis across various malignancies, including renal, prostate, and breast cancers. By knocking down CXCR7 expression, researchers can evaluate the therapeutic potential of CXCR7 antagonism in cancer, inflammatory diseases, and neurological disorders.
