Overview

CYAD-05 is a preclinical, investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy candidate being developed by Celyad Oncology as part of its natural killer group 2 member D (NKG2D)-based CAR-T platform for cancer. It is described by the company as a next-generation, allogeneic NKG2D CAR-T product candidate that builds on earlier autologous (CYAD-01, CYAD-02) and allogeneic (CYAD-101) programs, with the goal of improving persistence, activity, and safety in solid and hematologic malignancies. Publicly available information indicates that CYAD-05 is designed to exploit NKG2D-mediated recognition of multiple stress-induced ligands on tumor cells, but detailed construct design, target indication, and clinical development data have not yet been disclosed, suggesting the asset remains at an early research or pre-IND stage.
