Overview

Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) and hyaluronic acid is a combination formulation designed to leverage the distinct properties of both active ingredients. Cyanocobalamin is a synthetic form of vitamin B12 used to treat or prevent vitamin B12 deficiency. It is essential for making red blood cells, maintaining nervous system health, cell reproduction, hematopoiesis, nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis, and fat, carbohydrate, and protein metabolism. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that acts as a scaffold structure for tissue growth, improves skin flexibility and elasticity, and can serve as a delivery vehicle for other molecules due to its ability to attach to cells and provide space for molecular attachment. This combination is inferred to potentially improve the absorption or targeting of cyanocobalamin via hyaluronic acid. It could be utilized in injectable formulations for joint health, as both components have applications in this area, or as a topical product for skin health, combining vitamin B12's metabolic benefits with hyaluronic acid's moisturizing and tissue-supporting properties. This formulation might be particularly beneficial for conditions where both vitamin B12 deficiency and tissue repair or regeneration are concerns.
