Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Cyclamax** is a French multi-ingredient dietary supplement and nutraceutical originally developed by Persee Medica for sleep-quality improvement in adults with chronic primary insomnia. The formulation evaluated in the registered randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial NCT00484497 consisted of two soft-gelatin capsules daily for one month and was reported to contain soybean oil, Cade oil labeled as *Cannabis sativa*, *Humulus lupulus* extract, and soybean lecithin. In the 105-participant study, Cyclamax did not produce a statistically significant benefit versus placebo for subjective sleep quality, melatonin measures, or sleep-wake-cycle outcomes. Later retail listings for Cyclamax Sleep + Stress describe a different botanical formulation containing valerian, lemon balm, passionflower, and hop extracts, indicating that the branded product has been reformulated over time.
