cyclophosphamide + cytarabine + mercaptopurine is a combination chemotherapy regimen utilized as the second part of the reinduction phase (Phase 2) in a modified BFM-95 protocol. This specific regimen is being evaluated by Sun Yat-sen University for the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed T-lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL). The combination consists of cyclophosphamide, an alkylating agent that cross-links DNA; cytarabine, a pyrimidine analog that inhibits DNA polymerase; and mercaptopurine, a purine antimetabolite. Together, these agents provide intensive consolidation therapy intended to eliminate residual malignant lymphoblasts following initial induction and reinduction phase 1 treatments. This protocol is part of a prospective Phase II study (NCT02562924) aimed at improving outcomes in adult T-LBL patients.
