Overview

A combination chemotherapy and targeted therapy regimen used primarily for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. This regimen combines two chemotherapy agents (cyclophosphamide and epirubicin) with two HER2-targeted monoclonal antibodies (pertuzumab and trastuzumab). The dual HER2 blockade provided by pertuzumab and trastuzumab works synergistically, with each antibody binding to different domains of the HER2 receptor. This combination is typically used in neoadjuvant (pre-surgical) settings for early-stage or locally advanced HER2-positive breast cancer.
