Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent), nab-paclitaxel (a taxane in nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation), pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (an anthracycline), and two HER2-targeted monoclonal antibodies (pertuzumab and trastuzumab). This combination is being studied as neoadjuvant therapy for HER2-positive breast cancer. Similar combinations have shown high pathologic complete response rates with acceptable toxicity profiles.
