Cyclophosphamide + vinorelbine is a combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of two distinct drugs: cyclophosphamide and vinorelbine. Cyclophosphamide is a small-molecule alkylating agent that damages cellular DNA, interfering with DNA replication and resulting in cell death, particularly in rapidly dividing cancer cells. Vinorelbine is a small-molecule, semisynthetic vinca alkaloid that inhibits mitosis by binding to tubulin and preventing microtubule polymerization, arresting cells at the G2/M phase and triggering apoptosis. This combination has been investigated primarily for the treatment of recurrent or refractory sarcomas (notably rhabdomyosarcoma) and advanced small cell lung cancer, where it has demonstrated feasibility, manageable toxicity, and antitumor activity. Studies have shown potential improvements in disease control rates and patient quality of life when used as maintenance or combination therapy[1][3][6][7][9][10].
