Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CYD10 is a clinical trial identifier for a study within the CYD series evaluating Sanofi Pasteur's Dengvaxia (CYD dengue vaccine), a live attenuated tetravalent dengue vaccine composed of chimeric yellow fever-dengue viruses (~5 log10 CCID50 of each DENV serotype). Developed as part of the pivotal efficacy trials (related to CYD14 and CYD15), it demonstrated efficacy against virologically confirmed dengue (59.2% combined) and severe dengue (79.1% after first dose) in children and adolescents, though long-term data showed risks in seronegative individuals. Administered subcutaneously in a 0/6/12-month schedule, it targets prevention of dengue fever in endemic regions but has conditional approvals due to safety concerns in non-immune populations.
