Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CYH001 is a novel small molecule triple reuptake inhibitor (SNDRI) being developed by Beijing Chengyi Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, including major depressive disorder (MDD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It acts by simultaneously inhibiting the reuptake of three key neurotransmitters: serotonin (5-HT), norepinephrine (NE), and dopamine (DA). By increasing the synaptic concentrations of these monoamines, CYH001 aims to provide a more comprehensive therapeutic effect and potentially a faster onset of action compared to traditional selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). The drug is currently undergoing early-phase clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with depression and anxiety.
