Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cyhom-D is an oral fixed-dose combination capsule containing alpha-lipoic acid, methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), folic acid (vitamin B9), and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Developed by Cytech Pharma, it is primarily used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies, support nerve health, and manage symptoms of neuropathy, including diabetic neuropathy. Alpha-lipoic acid acts as a potent antioxidant that protects nerves from oxidative stress, while methylcobalamin, pyridoxine, and folic acid support myelin sheath formation, nerve regeneration, and red blood cell production. Vitamin D3 regulates calcium metabolism and supports bone and muscle health.
