CYNK-201 is a genetically modified, allogeneic, off-the-shelf natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Celularity, Inc. It is derived from human placental hematopoietic stem cells and engineered to express a high-affinity, protease cleavage-resistant CD16 (FCGRIIIA) variant and to secrete Interleukin-15 (IL-15). This genetic modification aims to enhance its persistence, proliferation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) against tumor cells. CYNK-201 is being investigated as a potential senolytic agent for age-related diseases and for the treatment of various cancers, including stomach cancer, lung cancer, and other solid tumors.
