CYP1A1 siRNA is a small interfering RNA designed to target and knock down the expression of cytochrome P450 1A1 (CYP1A1). In preclinical research, it is widely used to investigate the role of CYP1A1 in xenobiotic metabolism, lipid peroxidation, and cancer cell proliferation and survival. Studies have demonstrated that siRNA-mediated knockdown of CYP1A1 can inhibit the proliferation of breast, prostate, and lung cancer cells, promote apoptosis, and attenuate lipid accumulation and oxidative stress. It is primarily utilized as a research-use-only (RUO) laboratory tool.
