Overview

CyPep-1 + pembrolizumab is a combination therapy being investigated for various advanced solid tumors. CyPep-1 is a chemically synthesized peptide with oncolytic properties that selectively targets cancer cells based on their altered molecular composition. It works by removing the surrounding cell membrane of cancer cells, which releases tumor neoantigens to the microenvironment and potentially induces an anti-tumor immune response. Pembrolizumab (KEYTRUDA) is an anti-PD-1 antibody that blocks signals that inhibit the immune system, allowing it to attack tumor cells. The combination is designed to generate an enhanced immune response against cancer cells, with CyPep-1 administered via intratumoral injection every two weeks (Q2W) and pembrolizumab following a Q6W schedule as per standard of care.
