CYT-100 is an allogeneic, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Cytovia Therapeutics. It is designed as an "off-the-shelf" treatment for solid tumors, with a primary focus on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). By utilizing a standardized iPSC master cell bank, CYT-100 aims to provide a consistent and scalable alternative to patient-derived or donor-derived NK cell therapies. The therapy leverages the innate anti-tumor activity of NK cells, which can recognize and kill cancer cells without prior sensitization. Cytovia has integrated TALEN gene-editing technology into its platform to enhance the persistence and efficacy of its iNK cells, although CYT-100 serves as the foundational, non-CAR-engineered version of the therapy.
