Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CYT X300 is a pan-gamma delta T cell engager (TCE) being developed by Cytospire Therapeutics for the treatment of EGFR-positive solid tumors. Unlike conventional T cell engagers that typically target the CD3 epsilon chain on alpha-beta T cells, CYT X300 is designed to recruit and activate the entire pool of gamma delta T cells. This approach aims to generate a broader anti-tumor immune response while potentially offering a superior safety profile, specifically by reducing the risk of systemic cytokine release syndrome (CRS) often associated with CD3-based engagers. As of early 2024, the program is in IND-enabling preclinical studies following a significant Series A financing round led by 4BIO Capital.
