Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CYT004-MelQbG10 + montanide is a combination therapeutic cancer vaccine composed of the virus-like particle (VLP) vaccine CYT004-MelQbG10 and the adjuvant Montanide ISA 51. CYT004-MelQbG10 is a VLP-based vaccine derived from the coat protein of bacteriophage Qβ and loaded with melanoma-associated antigen peptides such as Melan-A/MART-1. The addition of Montanide ISA 51, an oil-based emulsion adjuvant, enhances immune responses by promoting antigen persistence at the injection site and recruiting antigen-presenting cells. This combination aims to induce robust cellular immune responses against melanoma antigens in patients with advanced-stage malignant melanoma[2][7][4]. Clinical trials have evaluated its safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity in HLA-A2 positive patients with stage III/IV malignant melanoma.
