Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CYT005-AllQbG10** was a Cytos Biotechnology allergen-immunotherapy vaccine program combining CYT003-QbG10 with a selected natural allergen extract, including house dust mite or grass-pollen extracts in separate clinical studies. CYT003-QbG10 consists of bacteriophage Qbeta-derived virus-like particles containing the CpG oligodeoxynucleotide G10, an endosomal Toll-like receptor 9 agonist intended to shift allergic immune responses away from pathogenic T-helper-2 polarization while allergen exposure promotes antigen-specific desensitization. The program was administered as a subcutaneous suspension and reached Phase 2 studies in allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, house dust mite allergy, grass-pollen allergy, and allergic asthma before being discontinued.
