Overview

CYTO NK-203 is an off-the-shelf, allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) natural killer (NK) cell therapy derived from umbilical cord blood. It is engineered to express a CAR targeting prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA), and incorporates a soluble, secretable form of interleukin-15 (IL-15) to enhance the activity and persistence of the NK cells. The therapy is designed for direct cytotoxicity against cancer cells expressing PSCA and for broad stimulation of both innate and adaptive immune responses via IL-15 secretion. Preclinical studies have demonstrated robust anti-tumor activity in models of pancreatic cancer, with prolonged survival observed in treated mice. CYTO NK-203 is being developed by CytoImmune Therapeutics in collaboration with City of Hope, primarily targeting solid tumors such as pancreatic cancer and non-small cell lung cancer[1][2][3][5][7].
