Cytoimplant is an allogeneic cell therapy consisting of mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) products. It is composed of allogeneic peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) that have been sensitized against the patient's own alloantigens. The therapy is designed to be delivered locally into the tumor, specifically for unresectable or advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma, via endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided fine-needle injection (FNI). The mechanism involves stimulating a localized immune response against the tumor through the introduction of sensitized allogeneic immune cells, which may promote tumor cell death and improve clinical outcomes such as survival and tumor response.
