Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cytorich is an autologous blood product (ABP) system developed by Antnor Health for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. It is prepared using a proprietary kit that processes a patient's own blood to create a concentrated solution of platelets and anti-inflammatory proteins. While similar to standard platelet-rich plasma (PRP), Cytorich is specifically enriched with anti-inflammatory components, such as interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1Ra), to better address the inflammatory environment of the osteoarthritic joint. The product is administered via intra-articular injection to reduce pain and improve physical function by modulating local inflammation and promoting tissue repair through the delivery of growth factors.
