D-2570 is an oral, small molecule inhibitor that selectively targets the pseudokinase (JH2) domain of tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2). It is being developed for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, with a primary focus on moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. In Phase 2 clinical trials, D-2570 demonstrated significant efficacy in improving skin clearance—achieving PASI 75 and higher response rates comparable to leading biologics—while maintaining a favorable safety profile. The drug was well-tolerated with no serious adverse events reported and most adverse events were mild to moderate. Its selectivity for TYK2 aims to avoid toxicities associated with JAK1–3 inhibition[1][5][6].
