D-cycloserine + fludrocortisone is a combination of two medications with different mechanisms of action. D-cycloserine is a partial agonist at the glycine recognition site of the glutamatergic NMDA receptor and also functions as a broad-spectrum antibiotic. Fludrocortisone is a synthetic mineralocorticoid used to treat adrenocortical insufficiency and salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome. This combination has been studied for the management of depression.
