Overview

D-flaxane ER is an extended-release formulation of desvenlafaxine, a small molecule serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) marketed by Vanprom Lifesciences in India. It is available in 50 mg and 100 mg tablet strengths and is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (depression) and anxiety. Desvenlafaxine works by inhibiting the serotonin transporter (SERT) and norepinephrine transporter (NET), thereby increasing the levels of these neurotransmitters in the brain.
