d-MAPPS (Derived Multiple Allogeneic Proteins Paracrine Signaling) is an investigational biologic ophthalmic solution developed by Regenerative Ocular Immunobiologics LLC for the treatment of severe chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease (oGVHD). The therapy is a secretome-based product derived from human placental tissues, containing a complex array of allogeneic proteins, including anti-inflammatory cytokines (such as Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist) and regenerative growth factors. Its mechanism of action involves modulating the ocular surface microenvironment through paracrine signaling to suppress T-cell mediated inflammation and promote tissue repair. d-MAPPS is currently available under an FDA-regulated expanded access program for patients who have exhausted standard therapeutic options and are ineligible for traditional clinical trials.
