Overview

DA-3880 is a biosimilar of darbepoetin alfa (ARANESP/NESP) developed by Dong-A ST. It is designed for treating anemic patients with chronic renal failure or those undergoing chemotherapy. The drug has been commercialized in Japan after regulatory approval. It functions as an erythropoiesis stimulant by acting as an erythropoietin receptor agonist, helping regulate the growth and maturation of red blood cells.
