Overview

**DA-5202** is an investigational intra-articular combination injection developed by Dong-A ST for symptomatic treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Public Korean project documentation describes it as a novel combination intra-articular product and identifies hyaluronate as a key component; associated preclinical literature supports a formulation combining hyaluronic acid with ketorolac. Hyaluronic acid is intended to provide local viscosupplementation and joint-lubricating effects, while ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes and prostaglandin synthesis to reduce pain and inflammation. A randomized, double-blind, active-controlled Phase II trial evaluated 10 mg and 20 mg intra-articular DA-5202 administered weekly for three weeks versus sodium hyaluronate in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
