Overview

DAA1106 is a potent and selective agonist for the peripheral benzodiazepine receptor (PBR), also known as the translocator protein (TSPO). It is used in its radiolabeled form, such as [11C]DAA1106, for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to examine neuroinflammation. DAA1106 exhibits anxiolytic-like effects in animal studies but does not interact with the GABA_A receptor.
