Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DAC-002 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) under clinical development by Hangzhou DAC Biotech for the treatment of solid tumors. It consists of a humanized anti-Trop2 monoclonal antibody linked to a Tubulysin B analog (Tub196), an anti-tubulin cytotoxic agent, via a smart linker. The drug targets Trop2 (tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2), which is highly expressed in various tumors and promotes tumor cell proliferation and metastasis. By binding to Trop2 on cancer cells and delivering the cytotoxic payload directly into these cells, DAC-002 aims to inhibit tumor growth. Its primary indications include triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), small cell lung cancer (SCLC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pancreatic cancer, and other advanced solid malignant neoplasms. As of early 2024, it is in Phase I/II clinical trials for these indications[1][2][4][5].
