Daclizumab + infliximab is a combination of two monoclonal antibody drugs used as an anti-cytokine therapy, primarily investigated for the treatment of steroid-refractory graft-versus-host disease (SR-GVHD). Daclizumab is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets CD25, the alpha subunit of the high-affinity interleukin-2 receptor (IL-2R), thereby inhibiting IL-2-mediated activation and proliferation of T cells. Infliximab is a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody that binds to tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), neutralizing its pro-inflammatory effects and reducing inflammation. The combination aims to suppress immune responses by targeting both IL-2 and TNF-α pathways, which are critical mediators in inflammatory and autoimmune conditions[1][7][6].
