Overview
Dahuang Zhechong Pill (DHZCP) is a classic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula originally described in the *Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber* (*Jin Gui Yao Lue*). It is composed of 12 medicinal ingredients, including Rhubarb (*Radix et Rhizoma Rhei*) and Ground Beetle (*Eupolyphaga seu Steleophaga*). Traditionally used to treat "blood stasis" and "dry blood" syndromes, modern research has focused on its antineoplastic properties. In the context of pancreatic cancer, DHZCP has been shown to inhibit the NF-κB/VEGF signaling pathway, thereby suppressing tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. It also modulates the inflammatory microenvironment by reducing levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines like IL-17 and markers like amylase.
