Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dahuoluo Pill (大活络丸) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed and marketed by Changchun Leiyunshang Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of the Lei Yun Shang Pharmaceutical Group. This complex polyherbal remedy contains 50 ingredients, including Agkistrodon, Zaocys dhumnade, Radix clematidis, Ephedra, and red ginseng. It is primarily indicated for expelling wind, alleviating pain, eliminating phlegm, and relaxing tendons. Clinically, it is used to treat conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, paralysis, lumbocrural pain, and complications arising from stroke, such as walking inconvenience and thoracic obstruction. As a TCM product, its therapeutic effects are attributed to the synergistic interaction of its numerous herbal and animal-derived components rather than a single molecular target.
