Overview
Dan Ma Jia Tablet is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of bronchial asthma. It is based on the clinical experience of Professor Xiaopu Xu and is specifically designed for patients exhibiting the 'hot type' of asthma syndrome during the exacerbation phase. The therapy is administered orally and has been evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials as an add-on to standard-of-care treatments, including inhaled corticosteroids and beta2-agonists, to assess its efficacy in improving asthma symptoms and lung function.
