Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Danburstotug (IMC-001) is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody developed by ImmuneOncia Therapeutics that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). By binding to PD-L1 on the surface of tumor cells, it blocks the inhibitory interaction with the PD-1 receptor on T-cells, thereby restoring and enhancing T-cell-mediated anti-tumor immune responses. A distinguishing feature of danburstotug is its retention of antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) activity, which allows it to recruit and activate natural killer (NK) cells and other effector cells to directly eliminate PD-L1-expressing cancer cells. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for various indications, including metastatic or locally advanced solid tumors, tumor mutational burden-high (TMB-H) solid tumors, and NK/T-cell lymphoma.
