Overview
Danggui Liuhuang Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Shandong Hongjitang Pharmaceutical. It is a modernized granule version of the classic TCM formula "Danggui Liuhuang Tang," which traditionally consists of seven herbal ingredients: *Radix Angelicae Sinensis* (Danggui), *Radix Rehmanniae* (Shengdi), *Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata* (Shudi), *Rhizoma Coptidis* (Huanglian), *Radix Scutellariae* (Huangqin), *Cortex Phellodendri* (Huangbai), and *Radix Astragali* (Huangqi). The formula is traditionally indicated for the treatment of Yin deficiency with internal heat, specifically targeting symptoms such as night sweats (hyperhidrosis), feverish sensations, and dry mouth. Shandong Hongjitang is currently engaged in the secondary development of this established drug, focusing on optimizing the preparation into a granule form to improve stability, standardization, and patient convenience.
