Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Danggui-Sayuk-Ga-Osuyu-Saenggang-tang (DSGOST) is a traditional Korean herbal medicine formula that has been used since ancient times. It is primarily composed of herbs that can disperse cold and tonify the blood to enhance the body's healing capacity from cold damage. DSGOST works by relaxing both endothelial and vascular smooth muscle cells through inhibiting cold-induced activation of the Ras homolog gene family member A (RhoA) and blocking the endothelin-1-mediated paracrine pathway for cold response in blood vessels. It has been traditionally used to treat cold hypersensitivity and Raynaud's phenomenon.
