There is no evidence that this combination is marketed or clinically validated as a unitary therapy. Danicamtiv acts as a direct activator of cardiac myosin, aiming to enhance cardiac contractility by increasing the duration and magnitude of the cardiac muscle's systolic contraction. Itraconazole works as a potent inhibitor of fungal ergosterol synthesis by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase (a cytochrome P450 isoenzyme), interfering with fungal cell membrane function.
