It is primarily indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions, specifically the acute phase of mild-to-moderate heat-asthma syndrome in bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The herbal formulation includes *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen), *Ephedra sinica* (Mahuang), *Pheretima* (Dilong), and *Fritillaria thunbergii* (Zhejiang Beimu).
