Danxiang Granules

Danxiang Granules (丹香颗粒) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Saisheng Pharmaceutical and its subsidiary, Shenyang Junyuan Pharmaceutical, for the treatment of breast hyperplasia (乳腺增生). Breast hyperplasia is a common benign breast condition primarily affecting young and middle-aged women, characterized by the proliferation of mammary gland tissue. In March 2025, the drug received a Clinical Trial Approval Notice from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to proceed with clinical studies. As is typical for TCM formulations, Danxiang Granules is designed to exert therapeutic effects through the synergistic action of multiple herbal components rather than a single molecular target, though its specific composition and mechanism of action have not been publicly disclosed.
