DAOIB has reached Phase 2 clinical trials for several indications related to cognitive impairment and neuropsychiatric symptoms, including mental fatigue, post-acute COVID-19 syndrome (long COVID) with brain fog/cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease (including mild cognitive impairment), and behavioral and psychological symptoms associated with dementia. Clinical studies suggest that DAOIB may improve cognitive function in patients with early-phase dementia or long-COVID-related brain fog[1][2][5][6].
