Overview

Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that enhances erectile function and may potentially reduce the refractory period and performance anxiety associated with PE. This specific combination is being studied by Al-Azhar University in a randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled trial to assess its efficacy and safety in improving intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) and patient-reported outcomes.
